Sean Smith graduated from the Denver Sturm College of Law in 2008 and received a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology from West Virginia University in 2000. Mr. Smith is admitted to practice law in both the Federal and State Courts of Colorado.
Prior to joining Gaiennie Law, Mr. Smith worked in the insurance industry, both in-house and in private practice, since 2002. As a result, Mr. Smith brings a wealth of experience and understanding of how insurance companies operate.
Mr. Smith practiced as a partner in an international law firm from 2012 to 2019. During this time he honed his skills in negotiation, mediation, and litigation in many areas of law including: Personal Injury, Toxic Tort (Benzene/Toluene Exposure, Mold Litigation, and Asbestos Exposure), Bad Faith Roofing and Siding Claims, Bad Faith UIM, Construction Litigation, Agent Errors and Omissions, Professional Liability, and Medical Malpractice.
Mr. Smith now represents victims and uses his experience in representing Defendants and Insurance companies to help his clients to maximize their recovery for the injuries they suffer.
Mr. Smith is responsible for both pre-litigation and litigation of claims on behalf of the clients of the Gaiennie Law Office. When not in the office, Mr. Smith can be found with his wife on athletic fields across the state cheering on his three children.
