Many students encounter circumstances that put them at a disadvantage in achieving their educational goals. Our firm is dedicated to leveling the playing field by monetarily helping someone with their educational pursuits. With this commitment, the Amy G Injury Firm has proudly awarded the Access to Education Scholarship for the past seven years.
We view progress as a tapestry, with education as the golden thread that weaves a brighter future for everyone. Education is not a privilege but a fundamental right and the cornerstone of a thriving society. By opening the doors of learning for everyone, we pave the way for a world where diverse minds converge, innovate, and collectively propel us toward a harmonious and enlightened tomorrow.
Each year, we grant $1,000 to the applicant who presents the most innovative and compelling ideas for expanding access to higher education, along with a strong articulation as to why they believe that objective is so critically important to the future of our nation and the world.
Who is Eligible?
The 2025 Amy G Injury Firm Access to Education Scholarship is open to students currently enrolled in any accredited degree program in the United States, whether a vocational program, community college, junior college, undergraduate, or graduate school. GED holders and upcoming high school graduates attending a college-level study program are also eligible for the award.
Ideal candidates will be those who can eloquently describe their understanding of the role of higher education in our culture, how it can lead to the betterment of all segments of society, and how access to such programs can be expanded to be more inclusive of underrepresented groups.
Applicants must provide evidence of good academic standing from their current institution. Such proof will consist of a cumulative grade point average of no less than 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
Application Steps
The candidate must fill out the form below with all necessary information, including:
- An up-to-date resume that lists current contact information, and a clear statement of present program level and student status
- The latest version of the student’s academic transcript (unofficial versions are permitted) from their current school; freshmen are allowed to send an unofficial document from the most recent institution attended, together with any other available documentation from their present school
- An original essay of roughly 750 words (Times New Roman, 12-point font, PDF format preferred) discussing the role of higher education in society and describing the applicant’s ideas for expanding access to a broader range of demographic groups
