Mr. Hawkins graduated from Roger Williams University School of Law in May 2004 and is admitted to the Colorado and Connecticut Federal and State Bars. In 2001, he received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder in Sociology and a minor in Ethnic Studies.
While in law school, Mr. Hawkins interned with the Newport, Rhode Island public defender’s office. At that time, he understood the importance of being the voice of the voiceless and protecting the rights of his clients.
Upon graduating law school, Mr. Hawkins represented clients in personal injury matters and criminal matters. Mr. Hawkins has taken numerous civil and criminal trials to verdict and argued matters before the Connecticut Court of Appeals and Supreme Court.
Mr. Hawkins is responsible for pre-litigation and litigation personal injury matters at the Gaiennie Law Office.
